The hotel boasts a superb location with a stunning view of the sea. Guests can take a lovely stroll into the nearby village to enjoy hospitable and delicious restaurants. the rooms are generally well-maintained and feature modern amenities, with comfortable furnishings and good water pressure in the bathroom. the friendly and welcoming staff provide excellent service as well as bike rentals.

The location directly across from Buffalo Beach is fantastic. The views morning, afternoon, and evening all beautiful. In the evening I could hear the waves crashing on the shore. It's also fairly close to the main street and activities (5-10 minutes) so it was easy to walk everywhere. The Whitiangea shoreline is lovely to walk. I was in town to meet family/friends. They came and went frequently and the motel owner was extremely hospitable, taking and passing on messages when family couldnt reach me. There were several of us staying at the Motel and we all thought it was clean, friendly, and good value for the money. It has a small kitchenette w all necessary amenities, TV, and WiFi, and a good working heater for those cold NZ winter nights, comfortable bed and a good shower (impt). The place was refurbished last year, so it's fresh and modern. Rooms were cleaned daily. I never noticed street noise or noise from neighboring tenants. Both upstairs and downstairs units have good views of the beach with balconey's or porches for sitting outside and enjoying the sun and view. I highly recommend the Motel, and also want to give a shout out to the owner Alan, for making the stay so easy and enjoyable.

It is a motel, so furnishings are those of a motel ... just basics.

The location was perfect and exceptionally nice, relatively close to a key beach. It's really close to the restaurants, the main shopping centre, and Whitianga.

It was as expected, had a very nice stay of 4 nights. Everything in this hotel was really good: magnificent location and amiable staff. Loved the location on the Peninsula. Went to Stoked Restaurant for drink or two, set within a close distance from the venue.

The service was amazing. The new owners were so helpful with activities we should look put for and were very approachable. They were so courteous and were great hosts.

I can't fault them and will be booking a family trip in February!

The atmosphere of the hotel is comfortable. The rooms are neat and wonderfully appointed, the beds are comfy.

The executive king suite here was spacious with an amazing sea view, and the large bathroom with a bathtub was fantastic.

All facilities inside and out were very well mainitained.

The Oceanside Motel was very clean and newly renovated. The bed was compfortable and the room facilities were great, spa worked well.

Great central location by the beach and shops with a nearby restaurant, had a very pleasant 4-night stay.

The location was great, and the unit had a lovely view. Also the unit was clean and tidy and bathroom was great with a Spa bath.

I liked staying at Oceanside Motel. My husband and I both were highly impressed with the room we stayed in. It was greet to be greeted and welcomed at the reception. We were shown to over room by a very lovely lady. The condition of the room we stayed in was clean and presentable to a very high standard. We loved the views from our room. Having a lovely kitchen space, balcony, bathroom, set up of the room was awesome. Having our room serviced everyday was great. We would like to say a huge thank you.
